Anything Is Possible in the Village

how the campaign is impacting our Village family and kids across rwanda.

Approximately 60% of ASYV kids are girls. Our programs focus on empowering them and teaching both our female and male students about the value of gender equity.

Through Anything Is Possible, we will provide Village girls with even more opportunities to see far—so they can go far—and launch a national program dedicated to helping all Rwandan girls achieve their dreams.

ASYV serves Rwanda’s most vulnerable youth, including kids who have sought refuge in Rwanda after conflict forced them to flee their home country.

Through Anything Is Possible, we will create a blueprint that will allow us to share our model with institutions and communities working to heal and educate young people recovering from societal trauma around the world.

Our kids and staff Mamas build bonds that last a lifetime. Mamas work together with Village social workers to provide the emotional support our kids need to thrive.

Through Anything Is Possible, we will make needed improvements to family residences and other Village structures, ensuring our kids’ safety and quality of life. New training opportunities for Mamas and other staff will enhance our own trauma-informed care. We will also disseminate our life skills model, which includes mental health, to schools across Rwanda.

ASYV alumni are becoming leaders both in the Village and in fields—from tech to the arts—that are helping to heal and transform their country.

Through Anything Is Possible, we will strengthen the mentoring, vocational training, and career development programs we offer our students and alumni. This will help each kid create the future for themselves, and their country, that they envision while inside our gates.
